Glass fibre

Fiberglass (US) or Fibreglass (UK) is a material consisting of numerous extremely fibres of glass. The general transition from asbestos to glass fibres has resulted in an increasingly wide range of applications. The distinguishing properties of textiles made from raw material like E-glass are their perfect resistance to high temperatures, excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties.

End products made from glass products take many different forms: cloth, yarns, cords, knitted ropes, tape packing and sleeving. These products have perfect insulation characteristics as well as abrasion and tear resistance.
